Keeping your campground tidy when traveling with your family isn’t always easy. These RV tips help us. Keep our campsite looking nice and functional without requiring a lot of effort. Check out these RV tips for a tidy campsite below.
Take Plenty of Rugs
Start by taking a long plenty of outdoor rugs. These are essential for keeping your space clean and reducing the amount of debris trapped in your RV. We pack outdoor rugs for all around the campsite and indoor rugs to help reduce the amount of dirt tracked inside.
Don’t Forget Tarps
You never know when it will rain, so be sure to bring plenty of tarps to keep all of your outdoor gear covered and safe in case of rain. Additionally, tarps are perfect for helping protect your food and supplies from wildlife, although they are usually not enough to deter raccoons or bears.
Make a Shoe Station
Inside the RV, you’re going to want to create a shoe station. You can do this in a number of ways. One of the best ways is to set up a basket just inside the door for dirty shoes and a second spot for slippers or comfy socks. Additionally, you can use an over-the-door hanger like the one pictured below to create a designated spot for everyone’s shoes.
Keep the Cleaning Supplies Handy
One of my best tips is to keep your cleaning supplies easy to access. We keep a set of cleaning supplies outside in the under storage, so tidying up after enjoying dinner around the picnic table is easy. Additionally, we keep cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink and in the bathroom.
Have a Place for Everything
Lastly, one of the most important things you can do to keep everything tidy at the campground is to give your supplies and more a place to belong. If everything has a home and everything is returned to its home after it has been used, it’s much easier to stay tidy and keep track of your things
